Friends and family,
The team was in Mizque, a small town southeast of Cochabamba, for the past three days. We traveled with 10 of the oldest Ninos girls to serve alongside them in local schools. There was no internet, so therefore no posts!
The kids were amazing. We got to try more Bolivian food and explore this tiny town. During the day, we worked at two different schools. Both were boarding schools, since students there have to travel a long way to go to school in that rural area. The one I was working at included installing glass in the windows there. Previously, many were missing or broken. It gets down to 30 degrees some nights and must be freezing in those firms. I could not believe students were sleeping in there!
We are back now for our last days in Cochabamba. Pray for our goodbyes as we all have gotten close to many of the kids here!
